On 4th March 2010, PA Manufacturers started commercial operations as a BOI project to manufacture a variety of steel products. This was another great initiative taken by the management after the end of the civil war in the country. Heretofore, 100% of the group’s product portfolio were imported and therefore, PA Manufacturers (Pvt) Ltd was established as a diversification within the group.

In order to increase the number of items that are manufactured locally, an expansion took place within the factory premises located in Walagedara, Mathugama and started manufacturing barbed wire & welded mesh from January, 2015. At present, the company also produces wire nails, steel stirrups and wheel barrows essential to the foundation levels of the construction sector.

The company looks forward to adding new machinery in order to expand the production capacity and to enhance the product range of its kind to optimize the utilization of factory space available.
